Sawyer® Cleaning Coupling
The Sawyer Cleaning Coupling provides an alternative method for maintaining your Sawyer Squeeze Filter or dual-threaded MINI filter. By removing the push-pull cap and attaching the coupling, you can connect the other end to a standard plastic water or soda bottle (28mm thread) filled with clean, filtered water. This allows for a forceful squeeze that backwashes and cleans the filter, which can be repeated until water flows easily and clearly.
